  1. This post has rendered me breathless. Your physical labors, seeming less endless, astound me. But oh how I love the photography. Just spectacular.

I was wondering how easily you will be able to harvest the olives with those walls around them? (beautiful as they are) I watch an online friend show the harvest and pruning process in Provence with all the net laying, etc.

I pray you will find times of rest when these huge projects finish.

    • I felt exhausted reliving the tasks (some of which I didn’t even write about) through the writing of this post, Sarah!
Both pruning and harvesting will still be as easy as it was before the small wall around the olive tree. These old olive trees were all planted in interesting places, which makes harvesting quite interesting at times, but we’ve never had issues on our land. I’ve helped with other harvests which involved barbed wire fences and brambles. Now that is a challenge. – Jolandi
