YOGA

My yoga journey started 15 years ago at a time in my life when I felt overwhelmed and a bit lost. It was a time in which I devoured all sorts of self-help books in my quest for answers to my many questions and some inner peace. I did my initial 200-hour yoga teacher training as part of this quest, never planning to actually teach, but through the gentle nudges of my teacher, Kerry Weavind, I started this journey by teaching in her yoga studio in Johannesburg, South Africa. It was the best thing that could have happened, as it was through teaching that I discovered so much of what I needed to learn myself.

In the years since then I have done formal trainings with Corinna Benner (Yin Yoga), and Lucas Rockwood (Breath Coaching, Yoga Trapeze, Gravity Yoga).

Through the years I’ve gravitated towards teaching small group classes in the UAE, to where I am today, preferring to teach private online classes, as students often struggle with injuries or physical limitations as they age, which makes private classes more feasible than group classes to address their specific needs.

A quiet practice for personal discovery & wisdom

Life is at its essence about relationships. With people. With our environment. With ourselves. We often neglect the relationship with ourselves, as well as the gentle nuances of our relationship with our environment. By bringing awareness to the body through the practice of yoga, we learn how to pay attention to our bodies, thoughts, emotions, and the impact the environment and people have on us. It is from this place that I teach, while working with the specific needs and limitations of each individual body.

If you are curious and want to learn more, please send me an email to schedule a free 30-minute consultation that includes 15 minutes of a sample practice.

I strongly believe that private sessions should be affordable, which is why I offer 8-class packages for 200 euros for a 60-minute online session once or twice a week, depending on the needs of the student.
